Wipro Hiring Freshers: SIM | As part of the School of IT Infrastructure Management (SIM) Program, selected candidates will:
- Work as a full-time IT Infrastructure Management professional at Wipro.
- Gain hands-on training in platform technologies, networking, server administration, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity basics.
- Learn behavioral skills and client communication to perform effectively in real-world IT environments.
- Manage incidents, troubleshoot IT-related issues, and ensure smooth functioning of infrastructure systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams on client requirements.
- Participate in pre-skilling training programs designed to bridge gaps in knowledge.
- Balance work responsibilities with sponsored academic learning to pursue a B.Tech degree in Information Systems.
- Commit to a service agreement of 48 months to ensure long-term growth and exposure at Wipro.

Wipro Hiring Freshers: SIM Other Criteria
- A maximum of 3 years of gap allowed between 10th standard and commencement of Diploma.
- Only full-time Diploma programs are permitted (no part-time, correspondence, or distance learning).
- Candidates can apply with a maximum of one active backlog at the time of assessment (must be cleared with 6th semester).
- Open school or distance education is allowed in 10th and 12th standard.
- Candidate must be an Indian Citizen, or hold a PIO/OCI card in case of foreign nationality.
- Bhutan and Nepal nationals must provide a citizenship certificate.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older at the time of onboarding.
- Candidates who have appeared for any Wipro selection process in the last 3 months are not eligible.
Compensation and Stipend
Wipro Hiring Freshers: SIM | Wipro provides a structured stipend plan for SIM participants:
- First Year: ₹12,400 per month
- Second Year: ₹15,488 per month
- Third Year: ₹17,553 per month
- Fourth Year: ₹19,618 per month
In addition, the B.Tech degree in Information Systems is fully sponsored by Wipro, saving students significant educational expenses while earning a steady income.
Evaluation and Selection Process
Wipro Hiring Freshers: SIM | The recruitment process for SIM comprises four stages:
Round 1 – Online Assessment (80 minutes)
- Verbal Ability: 20 minutes – 20 questions
- Analytical Ability: 20 minutes – 20 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude: 20 minutes – 20 questions
- Written Communication Test: 20 minutes
Round 2 – Voice Assessment
Candidates will undergo an evaluation of communication and client-interaction skills.
Round 3 – Business Discussion
A panel interview focused on technical knowledge, problem-solving, and professional behavior.
Round 4 – Pre-Skilling Training
Candidates who clear previous rounds will undergo structured training to prepare for live projects.
Service Agreement
- Duration: 48 months (4 years) from the date of joining.
- Candidates leaving before this period will be liable to repay the joining bonus on a pro-rata basis.
