About the Team:
The Quality Services (QS) team performs manual testing for multiple products and services in the Amazon ecosystem. We are committed to providing fast, reliable, and high-quality testing solutions to help Amazon uphold its vision of being the most customer-centric company.
Job Description:
- Conducted test plans, wrote test cases, set up appropriate test data, and provided clear, concise test results on time.
- Learn details about system functionality, and changes in requirements and documentation.
- Fill the test case gaps proactively and look for more issues/bugs that are not in the defined test scope.
- Conclusion: Ensure proper testing processes to validate product updates
- Be flexible with shifting project focus and quickly adapt testing approach as needed.
- Identify (through root cause analysis) the source of defects or issues.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Main obligations include, but are not limited to:
- Stick to SOPs, test methodology and processes.
- Perform functional testing on basic components or application, service, and device features to ensure they work as expected.
- Achieve daily productivity and quality targets. Record problems and bugs caught in testing and ensure they are resolved according to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Wherever possible, recommend changes to processes to increase efficiency in day-to-day activities.
- Help improve the quality of assigned features and components.
- Learn what you need and find it through peer interactions, hands-on training and resources provided by Device and Quality teams (SharePoint and internal wikis).
Basic Qualifications: Amazon Off Campus Hiring For 2024
- Qualification: BE, BTech, MCA, BSc (Computers), BCA, MSc (Information Technology) or equivalent.
- 0-1 year of experience; freshers acceptable
- Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written English Communication skills.
