The IT Service Desk is a centralised team responsible for offering technical support to our clients. This includes troubleshooting IT issues, resolving them, and ensuring the seamless operation of their computer systems and IT services. Our 15,000-strong team supports up to 90 global clients across various continents. Due to technological advancements, the IT Service Desk landscape has significantly evolved. Many organisations now utilize AI chatbots to automate and streamline their support processes. These chatbots use natural language processing to provide instant responses to common user queries and handle simple tasks, thereby reducing the workload on human analysts. Additionally, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is becoming more popular, automating repetitive and rule-based tasks, and freeing analysts to focus on more complex issues.
Location – Cognizant Is Hiring Freshers 2022 & 2023
Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata. Candidates must be willing to relocate to any of these locations as per business requirements and demands.
Eligibility – Cognizant Is Hiring Freshers 2022 & 2023
- 2022 & 2023 graduates of any 3-year full-time undergraduate program.
- Minimum 50% marks in 10th, 12th, Diploma, or UG.
- Open to Indian nationals only.
- Flexibility regarding work location, shift timings, and technology.
- Final onboarding is subject to satisfactory background verification.
- Ensure your PAN card has both your first name and last name updated. Background verification will fail if the PAN card name does not match the registered name on the application.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Log and track support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely problem resolution.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate complex issues and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain knowledge base articles and documentation to enhance self-service options and facilitate efficient problem-solving.
