Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a Graduate, Post Graduate, or Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or be a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities: Cognizant Off Campus Hiring 2024

Business/Customer:

  • Interact minimally with customers, usually under guidance.
  • Understand domain-specific processes, sub-processes, functions, and terminologies (such as SOPs, QC checklists).
  • In Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Complaints Management, individuals will perform data entry of information received from source documents into the relevant clinical/safety databases. This task requires adherence to turnaround times and accuracy standards.

Coding:

  • Execute coding tasks on assigned projects efficiently and within set timelines.
  • Import uncoded terms into databases and export coded medical terms from the coding platform.
  • Manage queries.
  • Create and prioritize “New Term Requests”.
  • Perform dictionary upgrades as needed.

Clinical Data Management (CDM):

  • Participate in study conduct activities to a limited extent.
  • Data review and query management are performed with assistance.
  • Engage in limited email communications with clients.
  • Each task requires peer quality control (QC) by a supervisor or designated senior.
  • No involvement in setup and migration activities.
  • Limited participation in data padlocking activities during database lock timelines.

  • Handle initial processing of assigned transactions. Complex issues are escalated to a supervisor or line manager.
  • Meet quality requirements and achieve targets/volumes within the specified turnaround time.
  • Comply with mandatory industry regulations and process requirements.
Knowledge Management:
  • Understand various document templates and standards (such as SOPs) to interpret documents and related terminologies.

People/Team Management:

  • Comply with organizational hygiene and compliance requirements, such as timesheet submission, assimilation, and attendance.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Generative AI.
  • Experience in PV Case Processing.
