Job Title: QA Analyst, Associate
Job Purpose: The QA Analyst, Associate is tasked with conducting functional tests on the product. This role encompasses involvement throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including reviewing requirements, performing impact analysis, and executing testing activities. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage defects, compile test results, and communicate issues, risks, and status updates promptly to ensure the solution aligns with business requirements.

- Exhibit a thorough understanding and enthusiasm for testing and quality assurance.
- Engage in various testing activities, including Functional Testing, Results Validation, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and Automated Testing, to maintain high-quality standards.
- Participate in the review of requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
- Analyze and review design and mapping documents prepared by the development team.
- Develop test cases based on business requirement documents and inputs from the development team.
- Review test cases created by peers to ensure high standards and comprehensive coverage.
- Coordinate with both onsite and offshore team members in development and testing to enhance test coverage.
- Provide detailed justifications for any defects found and offer adequate inputs for reproduction to the development team.
- Write SQL scripts for data validation.
- Follow established processes to achieve excellence, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
- Communicate status, issues, and risks with product teams and developers in a timely manner. Identify, mitigate, and resolve issues and risks.
Academic Qualifications & Relevant Experience: Infor Recruitment 2024 Freshers
- BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
- QA Analyst with 0-1 years of experience in manual testing and SQL.
Skills and Competencies Required:
- Fresh graduates with a completed testing course and certification from a reputable institution OR a minimum of 1 year of experience in functional testing.
- Knowledge of System Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Strong database skills, including the ability to understand and write complex SQL queries.
- Familiarity with test management tools like TestLink or QC.
- Understanding of agile methodology.
- Experience with bug management tools such as Quality Center and Jira.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of professional communication both orally and in writing.
- Experience with functional automation test tools (such as QTP or Selenium) is a plus.
- Exposure to SQL and REST API testing.
- Experience in the SCM/Logistics domain is a plus.
- Proficiency in agile methodology and tools like Jira.
- Strong conceptualization, analytical, and logical skills.
- Familiarity with test management and defect management tools.
