Correct the sentence:

3 grammar related ‘correct the sentence’ type questions, to be answered in a complete sentence

Free Speech:

A topic is given on which you must speak for 45 seconds. You will be given 30 seconds to prepare for the topic before speaking.

A. Short Questions

In this section, you will listen to information and answer questions based on it. Your answers should be in full sentences.

B. Conversation: WIPRO WILP SVAR Assessment 2024

You will hear a situation description followed by a dialogue. Respond appropriately based on the context.

Example 1: Situation: You hear a description about a customer inquiring about a product.

C. Read and Speak

You will see a sentence on the screen and you have to read it out loud within 12 seconds.

Action: Read the sentence out loud.

Action: Read the sentence out loud.

D. Listen and Speak

You will hear a sentence and you have to repeat it exactly as it is within 12 seconds.

Action: Repeat the sentence exactly as heard.

Action: Repeat the sentence exactly as heard.

E. Fill in the Blanks

You will be given sentences with missing words to fill in. There will be 3 grammar-related and 5 vocabulary-related questions.

Example 1: (Grammar) Sentence: “She ____ (go) to the market every Saturday.”

Answer: “She goes to the market every Saturday.”

Example 2: (Vocabulary) Sentence: “He couldn’t believe his ____ (luck) when he won the lottery.”

Answer: “He couldn’t believe his luck when he won the lottery.”

F. Correct the Sentence

You will be given sentences with grammatical errors to correct.

Example 1: Sentence: “She don’t like to eat vegetables.”

Answer: “She doesn’t like to eat vegetables.”

Example 2: Sentence: “He go to school every day.”

Answer: “He goes to school every day.”

G. Free Speech

You will be given a topic and 30 seconds to prepare. Then, you must speak on the topic for 45 seconds.

Example 1: Topic: “The impact of social media on society.”

Preparation: Think about key points such as communication, information sharing, and potential negative effects.

Speech: “Social media has transformed how we communicate and share information. It allows us to connect with friends and family worldwide and stay updated with news and trends. However, it also has negative impacts like spreading misinformation and affecting mental health.”

Example 2: Topic: “The importance of healthy eating.”

Preparation: Consider benefits like better health, increased energy, and improved mood.

Speech: “Healthy eating is crucial for maintaining good health.
