LTM AI bot interview: what happens next, technical round to joining
What the 2026 batch went through after the same bot, with dates. The official fresher numbers. And a clear estimate of what comes next for the 2027 batch.

Short answer
The technical round comes next: slots from 15 and 16 October 2026, some a day after the bot. LTM has not said how the bot score is used; in one college, 120 of 150 bot-takers reached technical. Last year: technical mid-October, HR from 24 October, offer letters in early December, first joinings in May and June. Our estimate: offer letters by December 2026, joining from mid 2027.

What happens after the LTM AI bot interview?#

No bot mail is not a rejection. Colleges published a direct technical list too, and last year students without a bot slot still got a technical interview.
Is the bot an elimination round?#
LTM has not said. A coordinator told students in September 2025 that it is "not an elimination round" but the score is counted. One college this year: 150 sat the bot, 120 cleared it, 100 more went straight to technical.
Our reading, medium confidence: the score counts, but the bot alone does not end your drive. The technical round decides.

6,729 freshers joined in the year to March 2026, then 1,308 in April to June 2026.
CEO Venu Lambu, 11 July 2026: "We added 1,300+ freshers this quarter, and I expect the same numbers to continue" (transcript). LTIMindtree became LTM Limited in 2026; same company, same offers. In April 2023, Business Standard reported that 600 to 700 freshers with 2022 offers were asked to join a training or lose the offer; nothing like it has been reported since. The next results come on 16 October 2026.
Who is in this drive#
- Graduate Engineer Trainee, 2027 batch, INR 4,05,233 a year, no bond, any LTM centre.
- B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech (all branches), MCA, 5-year integrated M.Sc in CS or IT. 65 percent throughout, no standing arrears.
- From a listing that quotes the registration mail. Confirm with your placement cell.
BCA, B.Sc and BBA are not on this list. Three-year degrees go through the Associate Trainee track; no 2027 notice had appeared by 15 October 2026. When it does, it will be on Classic Jobs the same day.
What comes next: our estimate#
Technical interviews run from 15 October to about the end of October.
Slots are posted; last year it ran 12 days.
Colleges that joined late get later slots.
HR comes within one to two weeks of technical, or inside the same call.
6 to 10 days in 2025.
A whole-college HR wave on one day, as in March 2025.
Offer letters arrive in late November or December 2026.
December both previous years; 3 to 8 weeks after HR.
A slower quarter at LTM; the 16 October results will show.
Joining starts after graduation, first batches in June or July 2027, a tail into 2028.
The 2026 batch's first joinings came 5.5 to 7.5 months after offers. LTM takes in about 1,300 freshers a quarter.
A bigger fresher number on 16 October would pull it earlier.
An offer letter is not a joining date. The TCS joining letter report shows the same wait at the largest recruiter.
What to do this week#
- Prepare the technical round, not the bot: OOPs, DBMS and SQL, OS basics, your projects, one or two simple coding tasks. The free mock tests cover the MCQ side.
- Check inbox, spam, promotions and your placement cell every morning.
- If your bot session crashed, write to the coordinator today with the time and a screenshot.
- Keep other drives alive: TCS NQT, CodeVita, Infosys, Capgemini and IBM are open. Get job alerts by degree.
- Share your technical and HR dates in the LTM thread of our WhatsApp groups. Names are never shared.

After the AI bot, when is the LTM technical interview?
Slots started on 15 and 16 October 2026. Last year technical ran from 15 to 26 October. A later slot is normal.
Does the bot have coding questions?
This year one student's PDF said no while the mail said yes. Last year's bot had one simple task. Follow your own mail.
When does LTM give the offer letter after HR?
3 to 8 weeks in every reported case. Offer letters came in December 2024 and from 3 December 2025.
When does joining come after the LTM offer letter?
LTM publishes no joining calendar. The 2026 batch got offers in December 2025 and the first joining letters in May and June 2026. Many were still waiting at 10 months.
