LTM technical interview 2027: questions asked, results day and next steps
Day one of the technical round, from the students who gave it. LTM's fresher numbers quarter by quarter, and the one number to watch in the 16 October results.

The LTM technical interview started on 15 October 2026: about 30 minutes on a video call, your projects, OOPs, SQL and code typed live in Notepad. LTM added 1,308 freshers in April to June and plans more than 6,000 this year; the 16 October results carry the next number. Last year HR came within 6 to 10 days and offer letters in early December.

Nobody reported trees, graphs or dynamic programming on day one. The panel sees the resume you uploaded at registration.
Is the bot an elimination round?#
Four answers in one week. A student quoted LTM's mail: "it says non-eliminatory round". Another student's placement cell called it "one of the elimination rounds". A third college moved 150 of 210 bot-takers to the technical round.
Our reading, medium confidence: the bot score goes into a list, and each college passes on its own share of it. Last year a coordinator said the same: "not an elimination round, but they will calculate this score".

To pass 6,000 this year after 1,308 in the first quarter, LTM needs about 1,565 a quarter from here. The 16 October number shows whether it is on that pace.
With its July results LTM said it plans more than 6,000 freshers in the year to March 2027, with 87,886 employees at the end of June (Kotak Neo report). The CEO's line in the July results call: "I expect the same numbers to continue".
Results day: the one number to watch#

Glitches, and what to do the same day#
- Bot closed after your introduction, status completed? Screenshot it with the time, mail your placement coordinator today and ask for a reschedule.
- Technical call dropped? Keep the slot mail and the link, note the time, and write to the coordinator the same day.
- Test the link ten minutes early. Do not re-register unless the coordinator says so.

HR comes within two weeks of your technical round, or inside the same call.

The most-liked comment this week, 29 likes: "All this for a 4 LPA job". The pay is INR 4,05,233 a year with no bond, from the listing that quotes LTM's mail to colleges. Take the offer if it comes, and keep other drives alive until a joining date exists on paper. The TCS joining letter report shows the same wait.
What to do this week#
- Prepare your three best projects line by line, then OOPs, SQL and basic array and string programs. The free mock tests cover the MCQ side.
- Check inbox, spam and your placement cell every morning. Bot slots are still going out.
- Keep other drives alive: Infosys, TCS NQT, Capgemini and IBM are open. Get job alerts by degree and the daily off-campus list.
- Share your technical, HR and offer dates in the LTM thread of our WhatsApp groups. Names are never shared.

What questions are asked in the LTM technical interview?

They carry the fresher count for July to September. LTM plans more than 6,000 in the year and added 1,308 in the first quarter. Around 1,300 to 1,600 keeps last year's picture: offers in December, joining from May.
When does LTM give the HR round and the offer letter?
Last year HR came 6 to 10 days after technical, sometimes in the same call. Offer letters came in early December in 2024 and 2025. Joining followed 5.5 to 7.5 months later.
